What the Land Remembers

£560.00

This piece is a meditation on the fleeting nature of memory, place and time. Layers of paint, linen thread and woven stitch gather like fragments of remembered landscapes—never fixed, always shifting. Constructed on linen, the piece combines abstract painting with hand stitching, weaving techniques and layered surfaces. the intricate hand stitching together with the painted layers, they become a quiet reflection on our reciprocal relationship with the landscape—how nature leaves its imprint on us, and how our own movements, memories and presence become woven into the places we inhabit.
